"Gun control" is a lie.
"Gun control" is a lie. "Gun control" is a liberal propaganda phrase intended to deceive. You have cruise control in your car. Does it limit the number of speeds at which you can cruise? Does it limit how often you can cruise? Does it limit where you can cruise? Does it limit in which vehicles you can cruise? Does it require that you register with the government or store your car at the local police station when not in use? Of course not, it allows YOU to control your cruise. Liberal "Gun control" is nothing of the kind, it is gun banning, gun confiscation, denial of self defense, infringement of personal rights and violation of the constitution.
Obama admin lies about crime statistics.
Obama claims to be advocating gun control to save lives, but the math proves otherwise. This is an attempt to disarm law abiding American citizens so that they cannot resist the upcoming tyranny. If we are stripped of our second amendment right, we will have no means to defend our other rights. They will then be violated at will, with no fear of repercussion by the federal government.

Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., in the wake of the Newtown, Conn.,
shootings, said: "The British are not coming. ... We don't need all
these guns to kill people." Lewis' vision, shared by many, represents a
gross ignorance of why the framers of the Constitution gave us the
Second Amendment. How about a few quotes from the period and you decide
whether our Founding Fathers harbored a fear of foreign tyrants.Alexander
Hamilton: "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is
that they be properly armed," adding later, "If the representatives of
the people betray their constituents, there is then no recourse left but
in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is
paramount to all positive forms of government." By the way, Hamilton is
referring to what institution when he says "the representatives of the
people"?
James Madison: "(The Constitution preserves) the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation ... (where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms."
Thomas Jefferson: "What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms."
George Mason, author of the Virginia Bill of Rights, which inspired our Constitution's Bill of Rights, said, "To disarm the people -- that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them."
Rep. John Lewis and like-minded people might dismiss these thoughts by saying the founders were racist anyway. Here's a more recent quote from a card-carrying liberal, the late Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey: "Certainly, one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of the citizen to keep and bear arms. ... The right of the citizen to bear arms is just one guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against the tyranny which now appears remote in America but which historically has proven to be always possible." I have many other Second Amendment references at http://econfaculty.gmu.edu/wew/quotes.html.
How about a couple of quotations with which Rep. Lewis and others might agree? "Armas para que?" (translated: "Guns, for what?") by Fidel Castro. There's a more famous one: "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing." That was Adolf Hitler.
Here's the gun grabbers' slippery-slope agenda, laid out by Nelson T. Shields, founder of Handgun Control Inc.: "We're going to have to take this one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily -- given the political realities -- going to be very modest. ... Right now, though, we'd be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal -- total control of handguns in the United States -- is going to take time. ... The final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition -- except for the military, police, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs and licensed gun collectors -- totally illegal" (The New Yorker, July 1976).
There have been people who've ridiculed the protections afforded by the Second Amendment, asking what chance would citizens have against the military might of the U.S. government. Military might isn't always the deciding factor. Our 1776 War of Independence was against the mightiest nation on the face of the earth -- Great Britain. In Syria, the rebels are making life uncomfortable for the much-better-equipped Syrian regime. Today's Americans are vastly better-armed than our founders, Warsaw Ghetto Jews and Syrian rebels.
There are about 300 million privately held firearms owned by Americans. That's nothing to sneeze at. And notice that the people who support gun control are the very people who want to control and dictate our lives.

This is the response of a true American. Knee jerk liberals who think the contry will meekly follow unconstitutional laws made by temporary politicians for their own gain need to pay heed.

‘No ma’am’: Letter from U.S. Marine to Dianne Feinstein goes viral
The following letter, written by U.S. Marine Joshua Boston and headlined “No ma’am.,” was posted in the CNN iReport on Dec. 27 with the included note from the producer and photo. It has struck a nerve with many and is being circulated around social media venues like Twitter and Facebook.
Senator Dianne Feinstein,
I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.
I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.
I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.
I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.
We, the people, deserve better than you.
Respectfully Submitted,

Sandy Hook, liberals cause more deaths.
Yet another example of "gun free" zones attracting cowards bent on murder. When's the last time a police station was attacked? Never. An active warzone army base? Nope, just off duty and cadets. A competition like 3 gun or IPSC. Nope those guys can shoot.
Gun don't kill people, never have and never will, people kill people. People kill people with cars, knives, baseball bats, boots, and bare hands. Yet we'll have dozen of liberal geniuses going on an on in tonights "news" about "if only we had banned guns... now we must ban guns" You did assholes, and looked how well it worked. You guaranteed a safe environment for the murderer until the police responded many minutes later. One single CHL could have prevented this.
Liberals will be the death of us all.

Obama starts second term with multiple gun ban efforts.
http://dailycaller.com/2012/11/15/gun-owners-enter-the-fight-of-our-lives/
"The NRA has been saying all along that Barack Obama would unleash an assault on our Second Amendment freedoms if he won a second term. It sure didn’t take long for him to prove us right.
Just hours after Obama won re-election last Tuesday, his administration endorsed a new effort by the global gun grabbers at the United Nations to draft a gun ban treaty early next year. The official starting point for the new talks is last year’s failed draft, which contains provisions that threaten our sovereign right to keep and bear arms through an international gun registration scheme.
And not long after Obama floated the idea of banning semi-automatic firearms, we learned that California Senator Dianne Feinstein was working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to draft new legislation that would ban semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and handguns, so-called “high capacity” magazines, and rifles and shotguns with pistol grips. Reportedly, Feinstein wants to make it illegal not just to sell your guns and magazines, but to leave them behind in your will.
Not surprisingly, the lights had hardly gone out at Obama’s victory celebration last week when gun-hating New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, along with his pollster, Frank Luntz, were conducting push polls to promote government control over every firearm transfer — including between fathers and sons, and grandfathers and grandsons."

Obama serious about paying back his electorate.
Obama's going to have a serious discussion on the economy... without any economists, businessmen, or legislators. He is going to invite all his race baiting buddies and campaign contributors however. The fiscal cliff won't be solved, in fact Obama will promise and repay his liberal friends for reelection to the tune of millions of dollars in additional debt.

Obama targets land owners
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/11/16/ranchers-farmers-brace-for-death-tax-impact/?intcmp=trending
"There is no way financially my kids can pay what the IRS is going to demand from them nine months after death and keep this ranch intact for their generation and future generations," said Kester, of the Bear Valley Ranch in Central California.
Two decades ago, Kester paid the IRS $2 million when he inherited a 22,000-acre cattle ranch from his grandfather. Come January, the tax burden on his children will be more than $13 million.
"We're not millionaires in the terms of making a million dollars a year," said Kester who lives in a modest home and whose family -- not outsiders or a corporation -- runs his ranch. "I have a half-a-million dollars in soil."
Kester can't spend it, without selling land. But by selling the land, each year the ranch would become less viable.
Ironically, many nations historically more concerned with class and wealth -- namely Russia and China -- have since abandoned their estate taxes.
Why are we paying the government, over and over again for something we own? If even the communists have realized it's a bad idea shouldn't Obama and his minions be able to figure it out? Guess what, he has! Pay attention, these are not isolated events. All of Obama's policies have the same effect.
